"Stitch Asylum" is the artistic persona of Stitch Martinez, a tattoo artist, visual artist and performer based in Virginia Beach.

With a career in tattooing that began in 2018, Stitch has cultivated a diverse portfolio. She specializes in fine line work, stipple shading and haunting, spooky designs. But, is often willing to work in various other styles and does enjoy the occassional glitter style or color piece.

Beyond tattooing, she enjoys various artistic mediums, including acrylics, watercolor, ink and colored pencils. Stitch is also skilled in digital painting and occasionally sews unique clothing pieces.

Art has been a central part of Stitch's life for as long as she can remember. She spent much of her younger years devoted to performing arts, but her focus has since shifted towards visual arts.

When not immersed in her art, Stitch cherishes her life near the beach, drawing inspiration from her surroundings and spending quality time with her children, who motivate and inspire her daily.
